First week traveling...sorry I am a bad blogger!

Well after a week of traveling I have realized that this is gonig to be a very interesting year!!!! Let me sum up the last week.

Day 2: started my new job officially. That went well, this team is gonig to be easy to get along with. Although there is always one person on the team that I think to myself "REALLY?" otherwise these couple of weeks will be easy. That night went into the lobby to chat about the horrible smell in my room and met an interesting group. After defusing a situation with another upset smelly room haver I agreed to take a business man to the local BJs pizza, after telling him that I was with the Department of Defence and I carried a handgun! He bought me a drink and my dinner, he never knew my name or where I was staying in the hotel. I know "BE CAREFUL"!!!

Day 3: Went shopping on the p-card. This wonderful thing...I get $45/day to get meals. I deceided to go grocery shopping and then spend less during the week. I found out that my company is really stoked on me considering I probably will only spend $150 total for the whole week.

Day 4: Marlas in town. She came in and we deceided to go see a movie. We saw that country one with Gwenith Paltrow. It was good!

Day 5: Time to go out!!! After work Marla and I met her boyfriend Bills friends for dinner. We ate that is great place called Kingfish. It was really good and then we went to a fun bar in downtown San Mateo. See photos

Ok so there was more photos but I am not sure why they dont download and I want to go take a bath so I will blog more about Marla and my weekend in San fran later...see you all soon!

Getting packed, monster movies & San Mateo

After a couple of days of giving everything away I packed up and was on my way. I decieded to take June Bug on this adventure.

So I have a new friend, his name is Frank (we will not use his last name to keep him annoymus ) so Frank makes movies and specificly monster movies. On my way up to San Mateo I was able to stop and see a movie he was shooting. WOW!!! The people that work on set are interesting to say the least. Wonderful but differnet then the people that I usually am around so its been a great experience. SO I get to the hotel and check in and get my room. I walk in so excited that I have great parking and a little area that June can go potty in right outside my door but the problem is that is smells like CURRY!!! What the heck? Why does the smell not make people want to stop eating it. I went to Target and got a million air freshioners to try to get rid of it becasue the location is so amazing. CURRY REALLY??? Well for now I've moved in...just like home!!!

Getting Started

Well many have been bugging me to blog about my crazy life. As I work, play & date stories arise and now is the time to start writing about them as I take on a new adventure.

So there is going to be rules about reading my blog. SO as I ramble them off if any of them are things that you can't handle then please don't follow because I would hate to cause you stress! OK so I am ghetto! I came from a woman that has forever corrected my grammer, spelling and sentence structure and although I know it drives her and also some of you nutts, I DON'T DO ENGLISH RIGHT!!!! SORRY DOLORES KAY! ALso I use way too many exclamation points but anyonethat knows me knows that I am really that excited when say most things so just imagine my face when you see the !!!!!!! As I write about my thoughts and experiences over the next year some might be child proof and some might not so I am going to title the blog with 7,8,9 if it isn't kid approiate. So please don't let your kids read them becasue they already think i am crazy so I would like to keep my fun image with them.OK so I can't think of anymore for now but I am sure I will add.

So as I adventure out  on my new position (Senior Director of Community Relations) with my current company (Sunrise Senior Living) I will be traveling all over and I am really excited about what the next year has planned for me .....so join me!!! See you tomorrow!
